Good hiking boots or trainers (for valley walks)
Personal first aid kit
3 to 4-season sleeping bag (for winter), or light sleeping bag (for summer)
Crampons, ice axe, gaiters (for winter treks from November to April)
Waterproof over-trousers or rain pants
Refillable water bottle or hydration pack (CamelBak)
Soft-sided duffel bag (50–80L)
Lightweight daypack
