Day 1 : Marrakech – Imlil (1,740m) – Tizi n’Tamatert (2,279m) – Tachedirt (2,300m)
On 6 days Toubkal circuit trek Your Depart starts from Marrakech early morning and drive to Imlil (1,740m), the gateway to the High Atlas Mountains. Meet your Berber guide and mule team, then start trekking towards Tizi n’Tamatert Pass (2,279m), offering spectacular views of the Imlil and Imnan valleys. Descend to Tachedirt (2,300m), one of the highest and most scenic villages in Morocco. Overnight in a camping. Trekking time: 5-6 hours .
Day 2 : Tachedirt – Ikkis – Tizi n’Likemt (3,550m) – Azib Likemt (2,700m)
challenging climb to Tizi n’Likemt (3,550m), offering panoramic views of the rugged peaks. Descend into the remote Likemt Valley, where you’ll camp in the wild near Azib Likemt (2,700m). Enjoy a hearty meal prepared by your Berber cook under a starry sky. Overnight in a camping. Trekking time: 6-7 hours
Day 3 : Azib Likemt – Assif Tinzar – Amsouzart (1,740m)
Trek through the isolated and picturesque Tinzar Valley, where few trekkers venture. Enjoy views of Toubkal’s southwest face and descend towards Amsouzart (1,740m), a traditional Berber village. Explore the village and stay overnight in a guesthouse. Trekking time: 6-7 hours
Day 4 : Amsouzart – Ifni Lake (2,295m)
A short but steep trek to Lac d’Ifni (2,295m), the only glacial lake in the High Atlas Mountains, surrounded by dramatic peaks. Relax by the emerald-green lake, a perfect place for a refreshing dip (weather permitting). Overnight camping beside the lake. Trekking time: 4-5 hours
Day 5 : Ifni Lake – Tizi n’Ouanoums (3,680m) – Toubkal Refuge (3,207m)
A tough climb to Tizi n’Ouanoums (3,680m), a high mountain pass offering breathtaking views. Descend to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m), your base camp for the summit push. Overnight in the refuge or camping. Trekking time: 5-6 hours
Day 6 : Summit Mount Toubkal (4,167m) – Imlil – Marrakech
Early morning ascent to Mount Toubkal (4,167m), the highest peak in North Africa. Enjoy breathtaking sunrise views over the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert in the distance. Descend back to Imlil, where your driver will take you back to Marrakech. Trekking time: 8-9 hours
