Day 1: Marrakech – Imi Oughlad – Tizi Oussem (2000m)
Your journey begins with a scenic transfer from Marrakech to Imi Oughlad. Trek through juniper forests and ascend Tizi n’Techt Pass (2000m), enjoying stunning panoramic views of Mount Oukaimeden and surrounding Berber villages. After lunch, continue towards Azzaden Valley, passing through picturesque landscapes.

Day 2: Azzaden Valley – Tizi Mzik (2500m) – Armed (2000m)
Trek through the lush Azzaden Valley, crossing Tizi n’Mzik Pass (2500m), which offers spectacular views over Imlil Valley. Enjoy a scenic lunch before descending into Armed village, Overnight in a Berber guesthouse | 5 hrs trek
Day 3: Imlil – Tizi n’Tamatert (2460m) – Tamguist Village (1980m)
Today’s trek takes you through the Tizi n’Tamatert Pass (2460m) with breathtaking views. Picnic lunch along the way before arriving in the charming Tamguist Village. During the summer, there’s an option to camp in tents under the stars. Overnight in a guesthouse or tent | 5 hrs trek
Day 4: Tamguist – Tizi Agersioual – Imlil
Cross traditional Berber villages like Ikiss and Amsakro, trekking through stunning landscapes filled with walnut and fruit trees. Ascend to Tizi Agersioual Pass, offering panoramic views over the High Atlas Mountains. After lunch near the river, trek back to Imlil.

Day 5: Imlil – Tizi n’Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Gorges
Depart Imlil and drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, visiting Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed ancient kasbah. Continue to the Valley of Roses and Skoura Oasis, before arriving at the dramatic Dades Gorges. Overnight in a hotel in Dades | Scenic drive
Day 6: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Sand Dunes
Explore the towering cliffs of Todra Gorge before heading to the Sahara Desert. Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Day 7: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ait Benhaddou

Day 8: Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
Drive back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, arriving by early afternoon. Spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant medina, souks, and Jemaa el-Fna square.

Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira (Atlantic Coast)

Day 10: Essaouira – Agafay Desert – Marrakech
Depart for Agafay Desert, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing experience in a luxurious desert camp. Optional activities include camel riding, quad biking, or relaxing by the pool.

We just finished our 10-day trek in the Atlas Mountains, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The itinerary was well-paced, making it enjoyable for the whole family, including our two teenagers. The guides took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the hospitality of the local people was heartwarming. We loved learning about Berber traditions while exploring stunning valleys and peaks. Definitely a trip to remember!
