This is more than a hike—it’s a journey into landscapes untouched by time, guided by locals who know every rock, spring, and legend.

📍 Day 1: From Marrakech to the Heart of the Mountains – Imi Oughlad to Tiziane (5-6 hrs hiking)

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Marrakech, winding through the Moulay Brahim Gorge, where red hills meet lush valleys. Watch as the terrain shifts—urban sprawl gives way to cedar trees, mountain slopes, and quaint roadside markets.

You’ll arrive in Imi Oughlad (1,450m), a peaceful Berber village, where your trekking team and mules await. Here begins your first real step into Berber life and Atlas beauty. As you ascend through pine and juniper forests, the air smells fresh and earthy. You’ll cross the Tizi n’Tachte Pass (2,000m)—a spectacular lookout point that opens onto the Imlil and Aït Oussaden valleys. Take a moment. Soak it in.

Lunch is a Berber-style picnic at Imi n’Ifri, surrounded by wildflowers and the distant sound of grazing goats. Later, you’ll continue downhill through terraced fields and traditional clay houses before arriving in Tiziane (1,750m), your resting place for the night. Your guesthouse, simple but welcoming, offers a delicious home-cooked dinner and warm mint tea by the fire.

🏔️ Day 3: Mountain Passes and Alpine Meadows – D’knt to Azib Tamsoult via Tizi n’Tagdalte (6 hrs hiking)

Your morning walk takes you deeper into the hidden folds of the Atlas, through barley fields, fruit orchards, and trails lined with wild thyme. Along the way, don’t be surprised to see Berber women carrying bundles of wood or riding mules with children on their backs—life here moves slowly, but purposefully.

Climb up to the Tizi n’Tagdalte Pass, where silence and sweeping views reward every step. From here, you descend into a juniper-draped forest where the light filters like golden lace.

After lunch beside a gentle spring, the trail leads through the vibrant Aït Oussaden Valley toward Tizi Oussem, a lovely village nestled into the hillside. You’ll push onward to Azib Tamsoult, a traditional high-altitude summer pasture still used by Berber shepherds.

This evening, you’ll sleep under the stars—or in a mountain guesthouse surrounded by them. The night sky here is unlike anything you’ve seen: crisp, clear, and filled with galaxies.

💧 Day 4: Waterfalls and Wild Beauty – Azib Tamsoult to Imlil via Tizi n’Mzik (5 hrs hiking)

After breakfast, a short hike leads you to one of the High Atlas’s hidden gems—Tamsoult Waterfalls. Cascading down rugged rocks, this is a perfect place for photos and a refreshing break.

Then comes one of the trek’s final challenges: the Tizi n’Mzik Pass (2,500m). As you climb, the landscape opens up to breathtaking 360° views—from jagged peaks to the green terraces of the Imlil Valley below.

Your final descent into Imlil (1,900m) is both triumphant and reflective. This lively village is the gateway to Mount Toubkal, and a hub for trekkers from all over the world. Enjoy a final lunch in a traditional guesthouse before your transfer back to Marrakech, bringing memories that will last a lifetime.
